About Me

My two older brothers and I used to build jumps when we were little and try to jump like the motocross guys we saw on T.V. We all actually started racing when I was 12. Who would have known that I would finally retire 20 years later.

The first organization we raced for was the NBmxA. In western NY that sanction didn't last and it was replaced by the EBA (Eastern Bicycle Association). When we became good racers we moved up to racing around the country in the NBL (National Bicycle League) and ABA (American Bicycle Association).

At 17 I was the Number 1 rider in my age group in the EBA. I won a ton of races throughout NY, PA and Canada. I tore my ACL in Woodward, PA when I was 18 and had to miss a whole year of racing. The EBA was just about gone so we began racing in the NBL.

Laying down the law!!

This is my 17 & Over Expert semi in Louisville, KY. This is one of my favorite pictures!  This was taken sometime after 10 p.m. Both semi's were stacked, mine had Darren Waterbury, Bobby Iovinella, Darin Mitchell, Phil Downell. I won this semi and ended up getting 2nd place in the main behind Jimmy Garcia!
